I love the interface and design of Tumblr and Posterous (If I tweeted that sentence I would be on the "trending topics reel"). I like to post things quickly these days. Only on winding nights do I want to disclose my thoughts in paragraphs. I'm not a writer. I'm an impulsive "post"-er. Post. Post. Post. Tweet. Tweet. Tweet. Facebook status update. Random recipe of toasted marshmallow dessert. Like this. Like that. But hey, I'm not going to migrate yet AGAIN (I went from xanga to another xanga to wordpress to blogspot), so I'm going to pretend like blogger is just as intelligently designed as Tumblr or Posterous and post post post to my hearts content.
I still commend those whose blogs are real blogs, those who express themselves through words, and only through words. Because I wish I could be interesting enough and deep enough and smart enough to write 3000 words in a blog post and be completely satisfied with it. I express myself in everything but words, which is why many people find me frustrating when sometimes in social environments I sit in silence and stare like I am uninterested and uncomfortable. I internalize everything, even things I wish to say, which is why my thoughts they never make it to my mouth and out into the world. More on my theory of introverts/extroverts for another post. But seriously, if anyone is interested in starting a blog or fansite check Tumblr and Posterous out!
