Am I Better Because of Him?

Despite the heavy hand of hypocrites and self-righteous we know and pretend to love in the Christian community, I still sincerely believe that the Church breeds good people. I say these things with the non-believer in mind, and their misconstrued view of Christians and good works.

I read this today:

"Eternal life and eternal judgment at the last day will be in accord with our deeds—good or evil. Not 'based on' our deeds but 'in accord with' our deeds. If we are justified by faith, our faith will produce good works. And our good deeds will be the evidence, the confirmation, the verification at the judgment that we were justified by faith alone."

We will be judged for our good deeds, but thank goodness, literally, the goodness that only comes from God, that our good deeds will be worthy in the end, "holy and pleasing to God".
